Parking Solutions
FDC can design, install, service or repair any parking facility from a ground level revenue controlled parking lot to a multi-level parking garage. FDC is a licensed distributor and installer for Federal APD, and carries a wide range of Federal APD parking and revenue control equipment systems. A listing of some of our more popular parking systems equipment can be found in the lower right portion of this page. An FDC installed Federal APD Parking System can count the vehicles coming into your facility, cut off access once a certain area is full and redirect traffic to vacant parking areas, all while collecting payment for parking spaces and monitoring your facility.
Revenue Control
The collection of payment for your customers' parking privileges can be collected in a variety of ways.

Ticket dispensers or “ticket spitters” print tickets for your customers to park on your property.
Parking pay stations can be manned or automatic. They are a way for a customer to pay by cash or credit card to receive a ticket to display in their vehicle.
Pay-in-Lane stations allow the customer to complete the parking transaction without having to leave their vehicle.
Fee displays show the customer the amount they owe and can display the time when not in use.
Attendant Stations can also be built and installed by FDC. These can be fitted with various access and revenue control solutions as well as controls to barrier gates and access gates from within. FDC is a licensed contractor in Florida and can build the entire station from the ground up.
Parking Solutions - Access Control
For even greater parking control, there are a variety of methods to control entry to your parking lot or parking garage. The following Federal APD parking equipment can be installed, serviced and maintained by FDC to maximize the revenue collected by your parking facility. See below how FDC can help your parking business make more money!
Vehicle Tracking
Federal APD Vehicle tracking systems count vehicles as they enter and exit and adds and subtracts accordingly to the number of spaces that the facility has. The information is transmitted to a display directing traffic to the appropriate areas where parking is still available.
Automatic Vehicle Identification
Federal APD Automatic vehicle identification can grant access to authorized vehicles and record the dates and times of their usage, eliminating the need of tickets and increasing traffic flow during busy times.
LPR - License Plate Recognition
Federal APD License plate recognition systems allow you to pull license plate numbers to calculate parking time and fees, control access to secured areas, and even calculate fees for lost tickets! These systems bring added security as a record of vehicles that have been in your facility that can be used by police should the need arise.
Parking Gate Systems
Various gate systems are available to protect your parking areas.
Barrier gates deter vehicles with barrier arms that extend out over the traffic lane. Standard barrier gate arms, or straight arms, remain straight in both the up and down state. Articulating arms, or folding gate arms, fold as they are raised and are necessary in areas of low clearance, like certain parking garages.
Grill gates close like a garage door to keep pedestrians out at night or during other times that access needs to be restricted. Types of grills are sectional grills, that fold at joints as they roll up flat with the ceiling. Tilt grills remain straight or flat as they are tilted at the mid section and raised up to the ceiling, similar to old-fashioned garage doors.
Other standard commercial gate styles can be found on our gate systems page.
Security Products
Common security products are available to monitor your site and protect you and your customers from vandalism and other unforeseen circumstances. FDC stocks, sells, installs and services a variety of Honeywell, Bosch/Philips, and Pelco security and surveillance equipment systems to keep your parking facility safe and secure. See more information on our Security Products page.
